The name Gatsby is our way of saying that this fabulous design derives from the impossibly glamorous Art Deco period of the 1920’s. It was a style that swept the world and it is so powerful and recognisable we will never lose it – as fashions come and go, Art Deco will not fade. We worked hard to get this just right; for example, the polish and finish of the heavy brass and on the thickness/translucency of the alabaster, and on every last minuscule dimension. We have made this as close to the wall as we possibly can so it does not intrude too far into the room. Alabaster is a splendidly natural material, each piece boasts its own distinctive veining and appearance, making every light an utterly unique masterpiece. A Pooky classic in true Gatsby style.
